Join us on Sunday, June 14th at 5PM for a new tradition inspired by our in-demand ‘Strings Under the Stars’ series at Vanderbilt Museum’s Reichert Planetarium. This program will feature excerpts from Holst’s masterwork ‘The Planets’ music by Bach, Debussy, and more for wind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and french horn). The quintet will be amplified through the planetarium’s sound system for an immersive surround-sound experience. Beautiful panoramic views of the stars projected onto the 60 foot planetarium dome will compliment the music at this unique event.
